Provide nursing and ophthalmic care in the operating theatre according to established guidelines. Prepare surgical equipment, instruments and consumables for the daily surgical list and surgeon preferences. Assist with safe anaesthetic care for general, regional and deep sedation anaesthesia, and perform scrubbing, circulating and recovery duties. Provide pre- and post-operative care to patients and maintain infection control standards through proper housekeeping. Update work processes in the digital operating theatre system and conduct inventory checks on medication and consumables. Escalate and submit incident reports to the Nurse Clinician or Senior Nurse Manager in a timely manner.
