Senior Therapy Associate (Occupational Therapy) 2 Year Contract

About the role

You will support occupational therapists in delivering patient care at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital or Jurong Community Hospital. Your duties include taking vitals, administering questionnaires, basic case history taking, screenings and clinical assessments, and monitoring patient progress. You will set up patients on therapeutic equipment, assist with mobilisation, exercises and mobility aids training, and apply or fabricate orthotics and splints. You will also lead group therapy sessions independently, run therapy programmes including pre-discharge training, and educate patients and caregivers. You will document patient information accurately and report clinical matters to the therapist.

Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a WFOT accredited programme OR Post-Graduate Master's in Occupational Therapy with relevant health sciences bachelor's
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an occupational therapist outside Singapore
• PC literacy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
• Organizational and time management skills
