About the role
You will join Prudential's underwriting team in Singapore, assessing the medical and financial risk of people applying for life and health insurance. The role involves working closely with colleagues and external partners to weigh up risk and exposure for potential clients. What you'll do
- Evaluate medical and financial risk for applicants seeking life and health insurance policies
- Make underwriting decisions within your delegated authority, keeping to underwriting standards and market practice
- Handle cases involving complex medical conditions and several risk factors
- Take part in face-to-face, phone and Zoom calls with Financial Consultants and Agency Leaders as part of servicing duties
