About the role

This internship is with a restaurant team in Singapore, giving hands-on exposure to front-of-house and back-of-house operations. It suits someone keen to learn how a restaurant runs day to day while serving guests to set standards.

What you'll do

Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant
Carry out F&B service tasks following the restaurant's service standards
Keep to all hygiene standards during service
Engage with guests and respond to their needs
Coordinate closely with colleagues and other departments to support business needs
Use the Point-Of-Sale system to generate bills and ensure billing is accurate
Take part in F&B stock-taking and procurement
Learn about different F&B roles, including bar, kitchen and service operations
Support the Manager in the restaurant's overall operations
Follow company rules in the Employee Handbook and control procedures, especially for stock and cash
Help the restaurant meet statutory rules on health, safety, fire, hygiene, licensing and security, and know the fire and emergency evacuation procedures
Handle other duties covered by the Talent Advancement Programme Learning Guide
Assist with ad-hoc tasks or projects assigned by the department
