About the role

Manage 25 to 30 active casework and counselling cases per quarter, mainly of low to moderate complexity. Conduct assessments, planning and interventions, and hold case conferences with partners. Handle case referrals and intake assessments as part of the Intake and Triage Team, referring clients to appropriate agencies. Network with other organisations and stakeholders, and support community outreach initiatives. Be part of the programme team for group work at the Family Service Centre.

Requirements

Degree or Graduate Diploma in Social Work or a related field such as Psychology or Social Science
Internship or placement experience in related areas of work
Understanding of social work values and ethics
Understanding of working with vulnerable populations such as low-income families
