When
Provide clinical nursing care in a day ward, including administering medication, ECG monitoring and assisting doctors during treatments and examinations. Coordinate pre- and post-operative nursing management for surgery patients and provide patient education on ophthalmic surgeries and health matters. Perform intravenous cannulation and venepuncture, and manage intravenous pulsed steroid patients. Plan and ensure availability of instrumentation, equipment and surgical supplies, and monitor care delivery to ensure patient safety. Attend to patient complaints and escalate incident reports to the Nurse Clinician or Senior Nurse Manager in a timely manner.
