About the role

Join Visa's Resolve Online engineering team as a software engineer working on AI-driven dispute management solutions. You'll build enterprise-scale features using Generative AI, machine learning and intelligent automation, collaborating with product, DevOps and QA colleagues. This suits engineers keen on AI technologies who enjoy scalable, production-grade development.

What you'll do

Work independently on defined problems and features
Apply established architectural patterns with sound technical judgment
Take ownership of code quality, testing and production reliability
Partner with GenAI agents for code generation, refactoring and automated testing
Experiment in Visa's AI sandbox with various GenAI models and frameworks
Apply Generative AI models to API integration, anomaly detection and intelligent automation

Collaborate actively within a cross-functional team

Translate functional requirements into clean, efficient, maintainable code

Write readable, testable code aligned with engineering standards

Develop and maintain automated unit and component tests

Identify and address defects, performance issues and reliability gaps

Participate in production releases and operational readiness activities

Work closely with Product Managers, DevOps and peer engineers

Good to know

At least 3 days in office required, confirmed by your Hiring Manager

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related technical field, or 3+ years of relevant work experience
1–2 years of hands-on software engineering experience with enterprise Java/J2EE applications
Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices and modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software delivery and generative AI coding assistants
Working knowledge of applied AI concepts such as large language models, embeddings and retrieval-augmented generation
Strong foundation in software engineering principles, clean code, object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and distributed systems
