About the role

This role supports the IT infrastructure of a fashion retail company with operations in Singapore and regional offices. You will manage servers, storage and backups, and provide technical support across the business. It suits someone with a few years of hands-on systems experience who enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

Install, configure and maintain server operating systems including Windows, Linux and VMware
Deploy, configure, manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, Exchange Server and Exchange Online, VMware ESXi, SAN storage and backup systems
Carry out routine system administration tasks
Monitor servers and resolve issues
Support backup and storage functions when needed
Keep proper documentation for all processes

Recommend solutions, ensure IT issues are corrected and maintain records of work done

Provide technical support across the company, including Singapore, regional offices and retail stores

Support server and network infrastructure and perform regular upgrades to keep systems current

Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and restore functionality

Assist with ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a similar field
At least 2 years of working experience in a related field
Experience configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting systems
Able to communicate effectively in both oral and written aspects
Able to work independently and in a team
Possesses analytical skills and works well in a fast-paced environment
