About the role

This role supports the power rail systems on the Bukit Panjang LRT, carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on rail components and equipment. You will work permanent night shifts, including at height, and respond to faults and emergencies as part of a maintenance team. It suits someone with a Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering who is comfortable working independently and in a team.

Work permanent night shifts, with the shift pattern set by supervisors based on operational needs.

Carry out maintenance tasks at height.

Perform preventive maintenance on components and equipment as assigned.

Perform corrective maintenance on components and equipment as assigned.

Carry out modifications on components and equipment as assigned.

Operate ground support equipment and tools as assigned.

Drive a company vehicle for work purposes, where the holder has a Singapore driving licence.

Watch for and report any safety concerns at the workplace.

Follow SOPs, statutory regulations and regulator requirements.

Handle other incidental or ancillary tasks as assigned, such as emergency response, supporting projects including testing and commissioning, attending to contractors, supervising contractors' work, and preparing reports.

Requirements

Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering from a recognised institution
Able to use general tools and equipment
Able to read and write English proficiently
Basic MS Office skills
Able to communicate effectively and work in a team
Able to work independently
