About the role

This role involves preventive maintenance track inspection for the MRT network, ensuring tracks, tunnels and related equipment are safe for commuters. You will join the Pway Patrolling department and work closely with cross-functional teams. It suits someone with a technical qualification who is comfortable with night shifts and walking long distances.

What you'll do

Inspect MRT tracks, third rails, tunnels and associated peripherals according to work instructions.
Identify and categorise defects using provided references.
Walk approximately 5km of tracks during inspections.
Handle day-to-day inspection and administrative tasks for the Pway Patrolling department.
Support other teams when required.
Use the latest versions of work instructions and procedures.

Meet set KPIs and maintain high productivity and quality.

Attend daily toolbox briefings led by the Person-In-Charge or Possession Master.

Undergo regular safety inspections and audits at worksites to ensure compliance.

Carry out tasks as assigned by the AE/STO/Detailer.

Take on Person-in-charge or Possession Master duties.

Work in a team and look out for teammates' safety.

Maintain proper conduct during inspection work.

Good to know

Permanent night shift is required.

Requirements

NITEC / NTC 3 / Higher NITEC in Rapid Transit, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Microelectronic, Marine or Robotics
Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
A good team player
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Good time management skills
Positive attitude and open to on-the-job learning
