Experience Some experience About the role This role supports the SCS system on Singapore's rail network, carrying out maintenance and project work to keep trains running safely and reliably. You'll join a technical team handling electrical and electronic equipment across stations and the base office, and it suits someone comfortable working independently on site.

Follow safety and regulatory work procedures
Keep maintenance documentation such as RTU datalists and drawings up to date
Monitor inventory and spares as directed by your supervisor
Monitor staff welfare matters including leave and clock in/out
Carry out system backups and preventive and corrective maintenance on time
Respond to all calls and SAP work notifications for preventive and corrective maintenance
Report work details in eSFR for first line maintenance
Ensure fault reports and preventive maintenance work orders are closed promptly
Keep SCS equipment rooms at stations and the base office clean and hazard-free
Review and update preventive maintenance work specs, instructions, project procedures and risk assessments
Perform QA checks on repaired items at site where applicable
Carry out in-house repairs when assigned
Optimise use of spare parts and consumables
Assist with disposal of condemned, unusable or obsolete equipment and parts
Act as Station Person-in-charge (SPIC) for SCS A&A and contractor work, ensuring safety compliance and following safety manuals and circulars
Support fault-finding and investigation for all parties
Attend safety inspections and audits of SCS systems, equipment and processes
Attend to work by external parties including LTA and contractors
Consolidate and organise collection of equipment technical data as required by your supervisor
Review technical manuals and drawings for as-built correctness submitted by contractors
Propose areas for improvement proactively
Respond to emergency recalls as required by your supervisor
Perform night work duties or cover as assigned by your supervisor Good to know Night work and emergency recall may be required Training and development sessions are provided Requirements Able to work with minimum supervision Able to interpret electronic and electrical single line drawings, statistical charts, figures, technical measurements and results Able to observe and understand safety implications (Higher) NITEC in Technical Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution Apply on the company website
