About the role

This is a temporary administrative role supporting an institutional review board (IRB) team in Singapore. You will help keep ethics submissions moving smoothly, from initial checks through to approvals, and work closely with researchers and the review office. It suits someone organised, careful with documents, and comfortable handling confidential material.

What you'll do

Screen IRB submissions at the initial stage for completeness and compliance
Track applications, amendments, renewals and approvals
Help prepare IRB meeting materials such as agendas and collated documents
Draft administrative correspondence to researchers
Keep accurate records and filing systems that meet audit requirements
Help update IRB templates, checklists and guidance documents

Assist with process documentation and workflow improvements

Take on other IRB administrative tasks assigned by the review office

Good to know

Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is an advantage
Training in IRB ethics principles, SOPs and compliance requirements is provided

Strong attention to detail and able to review documents systematically
Good written communication skills and able to follow structured guidelines
Strong organisation and time-management skills
Able to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
Responsible, dependable and able to work independently with guidance
Able to work to tight timelines within a structured workflow
