Threat Hunting Analyst (AVP)

About the role

You will proactively hunt for hidden threats, suspicious activities and security gaps across the bank's environment. You will build and run threat hunting hypotheses using threat intelligence, attacker TTPs and security telemetry from endpoint, network, cloud, identity and application sources. You will analyse data from SIEM, EDR and cloud security platforms to spot suspicious activity and validate findings. You will work with Detection Engineering to improve detection use cases, and support incident investigations with retrospective hunting and attacker behaviour analysis. You will also identify control gaps and recommend improvements to detection and response capabilities.

Requirements

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Threat Hunting, Security Operations, Detection Engineering, Incident Response or related cybersecurity functions
• Strong understanding of attacker TTPs and the MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, cloud security and log analysis platforms
• Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills
