Trainer/Presenter, Animal Behaviour and Programmes - Singapore Zoo

About the role

You will provide consistent husbandry, housing, care, feeding, training and enrichment for the animals, and present them in shows and guest interactive programmes. You will monitor animals for any health or behavioural issues and report them, and complete daily recordkeeping for feeding, weights, behaviour, training and enrichment. You will take part in shows as a presenter, handler or backstage support, and run training sessions with assigned animals. You will also contribute ideas for new animal behaviours, routines and presentation concepts.

Requirements

• Minimum 'N' Level
• Able to present in front of crowds and work with animals
• Able to work weekends and public holidays
• Good written and spoken communication skills
• Effective and motivated team player
