About the role

A logistics company is hiring a Transport Supervisor to run daily transport operations, covering middle-mile and domestic deliveries. You will join a frontline team supported by technology and work with drivers, coordinators and other departments to keep deliveries on schedule. This role suits someone with transport or distribution experience who can handle competing priorities in a fast-moving operation.

What you'll do

Plan and coordinate daily transport schedules, routes and vehicle allocations
Monitor and improve fleet utilisation, delivery performance and productivity
Supervise drivers and transport coordinators
Use Transport Management Systems for planning, dispatching, tracking and reporting
Keep delivery status updates and operational records current

Investigate and resolve delivery issues, disruptions and customer escalations

Monitor compliance with safety rules, company policies and procedures

Prepare operational reports and analyse performance metrics

Requirements

Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, transportation or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in transport, logistics or distribution operations
Experience in transport planning, fleet management and supervising drivers
Proficiency with Transport Management Systems and Microsoft Office
Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
