About the role
This is a 15-month structured on-the-job traineeship with GSK in Tuas, part of the Attach and Train Programme for Singapore's biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector. You'll build hands-on logistics and warehouse skills in a cGMP environment, supported by mentorship from experienced professionals. It suits fresh graduates and mid-career individuals keen on a biopharma supply chain career.
What you'll do
Receive materials and chemicals from the central warehouse, store them, and issue to production on time
Perform SAP transactions that match the physical movement of goods
Follow GMP requirements, including sanitising materials and cleaning classified and non-classified areas
Receive, handle and manage process waste
Review temperature graphs from PEMS and AMS sensors on schedule
Maintain inventory accuracy and documentation through cycle counts
Manage incoming and outgoing shipments so materials reach customers as expected
Coordinate logistics service providers or freight forwarders to meet procedures and service level agreements
Handle end-to-end shipment processes: booking, documentation, coordination, resolving discrepancies, and reviewing and approving invoices
Manage logistics providers, review AWB/BL and inward and outward permits
Revise and create SOPs, work instructions, forms and logbooks
Carry out inventory counting and generate reports for Singapore Customs, supporting IEF scheme renewal
Manage storage, retention and archival of electronic and hard copy documents at the warehouse
Support CAPA and deviation activities, inspections, audits and Gemba follow-ups

Requirements
Diploma in logistics, supply chain management or business
1-2 years' experience in logistics operations, material management or warehouse, or equivalent
Good understanding of logistics, warehouse, supply chain or material management
Working knowledge of ERP such as SAP or WMS
Physically fit and able to carry loads under 25 kg
Curious, willing to learn and adaptable to change
