About the role
This role supports the Tuas Port Reclamation project, based at MPA-mTower Block. You will take charge of planning, design, supervision and project management for large-scale land reclamation and port development works. It suits civil engineers with a background in infrastructure project management or site supervision who are comfortable leading consultants and managing contracts.
What you'll do
Carry out project planning and budgeting, draft tender specifications, and handle the calling and award of consultancy and construction tenders.
Lead the project management and supervision of consultants handling construction management, contract administration and site supervisory work.
Monitor work progress and manage expenditures, including progress claims and variation orders for contracts.
Attend to technical matters and project issues on the Tuas Port construction, and oversee quantitative analyses of schedule tracking for the Contractor's Programme of Works.
Attend to agency matters related to the Tuas Port project.

Selected candidates will be appointed on a 2-year contract.
Job title and grade will be commensurate with experience.
Requirements
Training in civil engineering is preferred
At least 3 years experience in civil engineering project management or site supervision of infrastructure projects is an advantage
Well versed in the Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC) for construction works
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Good interpersonal and team management skills
