About the role

You will acquire and grow restaurant partnerships across Singapore, helping F&B merchants adopt a suite of business solutions covering deliveries, reservations, QR ordering, loyalty, payments, advertising and CRM tools. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Merchant Sales, based onsite at Grab Singapore, suited to a sales professional with strong commercial judgement and deep B2B experience who can independently manage complex opportunities. You will work directly with restaurant owners and senior decision-makers, leading the full sales cycle from prospecting through to onboarding handover.

What you'll do

Identify, qualify and acquire high-potential restaurant partners through cold calling, networking, referrals, field prospecting and face-to-face meetings

Own the end-to-end sales cycle, covering discovery, solution design, proposal development, negotiation, contracting and onboarding handover

Build and manage a healthy pipeline with disciplined CRM management, clear prioritisation and accurate forecasting

Diagnose merchants' business challenges, commercial priorities and operational needs, then recommend a tailored mix of solutions

Develop business cases and commercial proposals using merchant performance, market insights and unit economics

Lead complex sales presentations, negotiations and contract discussions with business owners and senior decision-makers

Balance merchant needs with Grab's commercial objectives when structuring terms and closing agreements

Build trusted long-term merchant relationships and identify future growth opportunities across the ecosystem

Work with Operations, Marketing, Account Management, Finance and other cross-functional teams to remove barriers and ensure successful onboarding and adoption

Share market intelligence, merchant feedback and competitive insights to inform sales priorities and business decisions

Contribute sales expertise, effective practices and informal coaching to strengthen team capability and sales processes

This is an individual contributor position with no formal people-management responsibilities
The role reports to the Manager, Merchant Sales and is based onsite at Grab Singapore

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, merchant acquisition or other client-facing commercial roles
Experience in F&B, food delivery, payments, SaaS, e-commerce or merchant technology is an advantage
A strong track record of meeting or exceeding acquisition, revenue and pipeline targets
Proven expertise in consultative selling, new-business hunting, pipeline management and accurate sales forecasting
Experience independently managing complex or higher-value sales cycles and negotiating commercial terms with senior decision-makers
Strong business acumen and the ability to translate merchant needs, operational realities and data into practical commercial recommendations
