About the role

This is a one-year contract finance role based in Singapore, supporting a healthcare organisation's finance team. It suits someone with a diploma in business, finance or accounting who is comfortable with billing, reconciliations and reporting work.

What you'll do

Handle intercompany and related-party transactions, including account confirmations, statements of accounts and billing
Clear bank receipts and allocate customer payments accurately and on time
Reconcile e-commerce transactions and look into differences between payment platforms and accounting records
Process non-patient billings, e-invoicing and intercompany billings, and chase up outstanding debtor balances
Prepare and send invoices plus operational and financial reports to MOH, MOHH, NHG, external agencies and internal stakeholders

Administer payor adjustments, MAF+, Remission and other healthcare financing schemes following set guidelines

Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, audit schedules and other finance reports for monthly and annual closing

Support financial analysis, process improvement and system enhancement projects

Liaise with internal departments, external stakeholders and customers on billing, payment and account matters

Carry out ad hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum diploma in business, finance or accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
SAP knowledge is an advantage
Strong organisational skills and close attention to detail in data entry and record keeping
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
