About the role

NTUC Health runs Active Ageing Centres that help seniors stay active and connected in the community. As Centre Manager, you will run one or more centres within a sub-region, keeping daily operations smooth and working with partners to deliver programmes that seniors enjoy. This role suits someone who is organised, enjoys working with people, and wants to make a difference for older adults.

What you'll do

Oversee daily operations and administrative matters at the centre
Ensure centre outcomes are evaluated on time and reported accurately to management and the funder
Support and guide team members through formal learning, on-the-job learning and mentorship
Plan and lead community outreach activities and programmes to promote the centre's offerings

Build partnerships within the Regional Health System, with community partners and volunteers, including grassroots groups

Empower and develop active seniors to serve other vulnerable seniors in the community

Good to know

Locations available for this role are Whampoa and Bedok
Centre Managers may be expected to manage a few Active Ageing Centres within a sub-region

Requirements

Masters or Degree in Business Management, Psychology, Gerontology or a related field (diploma holders with relevant experience may be considered)
Able to work well in a collaborative and fast-moving environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficient in Google Suite applications
Able to converse in local languages to communicate with seniors
