Cluster iT Specialist - The St. Regis Singapore

You will install, configure, manage, maintain, test, evaluate, and repair computer networks, workstations, server systems, hardware, software, user accounts, and computer or telephone rooms. You will train users on proper and secure use of all systems, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, LAN, WAN, and internet, and respond to program error messages. You will provide network communications support and technical guidance, refer major problems to vendors or technicians, and analyse, recommend, and implement process improvements. You will also plan and coordinate IT equipment installations, moves, additions, changes, and system enhancements, implement network security measures, manage disk space, maintain an accurate inventory of all technological devices, and ensure backup tapes are locked in a fireproof safe. Additionally, you will provide end-user support for all applications, follow company policies and procedures, report accidents and unsafe conditions, maintain confidentiality, address guest service needs, assist other employees, and communicate clearly and professionally. You may need to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and move up and down stairs or ramps.
