Deputy/Assistant Director, Consumer Issues Division - Complaints (Contract)

About the role

You will handle consumer complaints and feedback about financial institutions and practices in the financial industry. You will identify key issues raised by consumers and work with supervisory departments to craft clear, empathetic replies. You will also liaise with financial institutions to ensure they review and respond to consumer feedback, and submit timely updates to MAS. You may also support financial education initiatives for MoneySense, Singapore's national financial education programme, including helping at public events such as webinars and seminars.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Good analytical skills and understanding of consumer engagement and financial behaviour
• Good knowledge of or keen interest in financial products and services
• Keen interest in public service
• Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently
• Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
