About the role

This role leads bespoke food and beverage concept creation for a luxury and lifestyle hotel portfolio across Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. You will shape original concepts that lift brand recognition, improve the guest experience and create value for property owners, working within a small, close-knit team. It suits a senior creative professional who is happy to deliver hands-on work personally while also guiding the wider team.

Assess each project, market and guest profile before recommending an F&B concept strategy for a property.
Make sure proposed concepts align with the regional F&B operations team and support strong commercial returns.
Create bespoke F&B concepts for luxury and lifestyle brands across pipeline, renovation and conversion hotels.
Own the full creative arc of a concept, covering narrative, culinary and beverage direction, service ritual, mood and spatial storytelling, together with Architecture & Design.
Carry out and regularly update market research on regional suitability, competitive set, target audience and economic factors.
Prepare and present detailed concept briefs that owners and their representatives can act on.
Identify and evaluate brand-relevant restaurant operators and concept partners, review their financial acumen and fit, and advise ownership.
Evaluate and identify new business opportunities for additional bespoke concepts.
Track progress and compliance of concept initiatives against the project board, setting working schedules and task completion dates around project deadlines.
Manage day-to-day tasks, priorities and workflow across the small F&B concept development team to keep deliverables on track.
Coordinate key stakeholders including Hotel Operations, Technical Services and Architecture & Design in support of concept development and design.
Build and maintain strong business relationships with senior owners, asset managers and operators, acting as the primary regional creative contact for bespoke F&B concept development.
Contribute to brand standards review and updates alongside Brand Heads and F&B Operations.
Direct and mentor supporting creative or design team members on concept briefs, setting work priorities while remaining hands-on and personally delivering creative work.
Take part in Brand F&B Development special projects as team lead, keeping constituents updated.
Assist the Senior Director F&B – APAC with strategic and department goals, and support ad-hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

Degree in Interior Design, Hospitality, F&B Management or a related field, plus significant hospitality or F&B experience
7+ years of restaurant design or F&B concept development experience, including 4+ years in a senior creative or F&B design leadership capacity
Demonstrated ability to translate brand strategy into distinctive, ownership-ready bespoke concepts
Strong knowledge of F&B operations, service techniques and current global F&B trends and concepts in the luxury and lifestyle space
Ability to think creatively and pair design ability with F&B operations experience
Ability to convey mood, narrative and brand story through imagery and materials
