Executive Housekeeper

About the role

Oversee the cleaning of guestrooms and public areas to maintain hotel and brand cleanliness standards. Plan and manage daily schedules for housekeeping ambassadors, and lead, motivate and train the team. Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to ensure furnishings and equipment are clean and well maintained. Manage laundry operations and linen inventory, and handle guest laundry and lost property according to hotel policy. Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering on room readiness and VIP requirements, and liaise with the General Manager on external contractors and suppliers.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping management experience in a similar role
• Experience in the luxury market, previous 5-star experience essential
• Strong operational background with experience in implementing and managing brand standards
• Experience in coaching and developing a professional management team
• Sound knowledge of Opera and Microsoft applications
• Proven experience with cost control including payroll, expenses and forecasting
