About the role

This role supports the In-Room Dining Manager in running daily in-room dining operations at Marina Bay Sands. You will supervise and train the service team, coordinate with culinary and other departments, and help maintain high guest service standards. It suits an experienced hospitality supervisor ready to step up in a large luxury hotel environment.

Assist the In-Room Dining Manager with all aspects of daily operations.
Supervise and train in-room dining staff, making sure company policies and service standards are followed.
Manage employee behaviour in line with health and safety regulations.
Coordinate and schedule staff shifts so peak periods are properly covered.
Monitor food, beverage and general supply inventory and place orders when needed.
Run shift briefings and training sessions to prepare the team for service.
Support the Manager or General Manager with setting team goals and appraisals.
Work with the culinary team to develop and update the in-room dining menu, including guest preferences and dietary needs.
Handle guest questions, concerns and complaints promptly and professionally to reach a satisfactory resolution.
Keep the in-room dining area clean and organised and compliant with health and safety rules.
Track performance metrics such as guest satisfaction and order accuracy and implement improvements.
Help create and deliver training programmes that build team skills and knowledge.
Keep up with industry trends and best practices and bring new ideas into the operation.
Coordinate requirements with Housekeeping, IT, Front Desk, Culinary, Stewarding, Facilities and Procurement.

Requirements

Certificate or Diploma in Restaurant Management, or extensive F&B experience
At least 3 years' experience in an integrated resort, restaurant group, private club or luxury hotel chain
Supervisory or managerial experience in hospitality, preferably in-room dining or fine dining
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate a team
Good organisational and time management skills and able to handle multiple tasks at once
Exceptional customer service skills with attention to detail
