Kitchen Crew (VUE)

What you'll do

• Prepare and execute food following the Executive Chef's recipes and specifications
• Apply different cooking methods, processes and techniques with various ingredients and equipment
• Handle raw ingredients according to food hygiene and safety guidelines
• Help prepare desserts such as cakes, cookies, pies and bread
• Assist with decorating pastries using icings and toppings as directed by the Pastry Chef
• Monitor kitchen ingredients and stock, and tell the kitchen team when orders are needed
• Check the quality of materials and the condition of cooking equipment and devices
• Keep your cooking station lean and orderly and follow health and safety standards
• Make sure food preparation and handling meet the restaurant's food hygiene and standards guidelines
• Take on any other duties assigned by management or your manager
