About the role

A contract role supporting Private Banking International relationship managers with periodic KYC reviews. You will work directly with RMs to review and enhance client KYC documentation, covering source of wealth and source of funds narratives, and help ensure files meet regulatory and internal standards. It suits someone with private banking KYC or front advisory experience who is analytical, organised and comfortable managing several cases at once.

What you'll do

Review and uplift existing KYC profiles to meet enhanced regulatory and internal policy requirements
Work with RMs to prepare comprehensive KYC files and narratives for periodic reviews
Review updated source of wealth documentation and KYC corroboration from the front office

Write clear source of wealth and source of funds summaries with justifications, plausibility assessments and traceability

Carry out source of wealth plausibility assessments, benchmarking and review of client transactional behaviour, and validate name screening results

Give feedback to relationship managers by email or in person and help draft client source of wealth narratives

Review client structures such as individuals, companies, trusts and foundations for documentation completeness under local rules

Identify and escalate new risk indicators or unusual transaction patterns found during reviews

Keep clear documentation of review rationale and decisions

Complete assigned cases on time and to quality standards, and support periodic reporting and status updates for internal governance

Advise front office employees on KYC and CDD matters

Suggest procedure improvements by spotting recurring gaps

Ensure KYC and CDD issues are identified, assessed and documented, and that mitigating measures and timely escalation to compliance are in place where measures cannot be completed

Requirements

Strong sense of responsibility and integrity
Confident personality with good organisational skills
Able to manage internal and external stakeholders
Strong analytical skills
Prior KYC uplift or front KYC advisory experience in a private bank preferred
Strong technical knowledge of KYC risk assessment, source of wealth and source of funds corroboration, and financial crime compliance standards
