About the role

You will join the HR team at Tengah General and Community Hospital, a new health campus within the National University Health System, and take charge of recruitment for the Allied Health and Pharmacy workforce. The role suits an experienced talent acquisition professional who can turn broad workforce priorities into focused hiring plans and who enjoys working closely with hiring leaders. You will also look ahead to spot emerging hiring challenges and suggest fresh ways to strengthen talent pipelines.

What you'll do

Turn the hospital's talent acquisition strategy and workforce priorities into recruitment plans and sourcing approaches for the Allied Health and Pharmacy portfolio.
Work with hiring leaders and HR stakeholders to understand manpower needs, anticipate hiring challenges and recommend suitable recruitment solutions.

Own hiring outcomes and pipeline health, proactively spotting gaps and addressing recruitment risks.

Build sustainable talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, talent mapping, candidate engagement and targeted outreach.

Manage end-to-end recruitment for priority and critical positions while keeping oversight of recruitment progress across the portfolio.

Drive student sponsorship and early talent recruitment initiatives with stakeholders and Institutes of Higher Learning.

Drive talent outreach and engagement activities such as career fairs and campus engagement.

Test new sourcing approaches, including technology and AI-enabled tools, to improve recruitment effectiveness and candidate engagement.

Use recruitment data and market insights to assess sourcing effectiveness, identify trends and recommend improvements.

Build strong relationships with hiring stakeholders, offering recruitment advice and constructively challenging existing approaches.

Contribute ideas to broader talent acquisition projects supporting workforce build-up and operational readiness.

Handle any other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

The hospital is located in Tengah Forest Town and is slated to be ready in the early 2030s.

Requirements

Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or a related discipline
At least 8 years of relevant talent acquisition experience, preferably in healthcare or a complex organisation
Strong end-to-end recruitment, sourcing and talent mapping skills
Experience recruiting Allied Health and/or Pharmacy professionals is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to use recruitment data and market insights
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across levels
