It suits an analytically rigorous supply chain professional who is comfortable with ambiguity and influencing senior stakeholders.
What you'll do
Build understanding of external factors such as geopolitical shifts, trade and tariff dynamics, logistics disruptions, sustainability expectations and supplier capabilities, plus internal factors like product roadmap, volumes, cost structure and operational constraints
Convert company and supply chain strategy into network design imperatives covering make-vs-buy, regional vs global manufacturing and distribution models, and capacity allocation and footprint evolution
Define end-to-end network scenarios reflecting strategic options and trade-offs across cost, service, cash, resilience and sustainability
Frame scenarios with clear assumptions, constraints, decision levers and success criteria for objective evaluation and executive discussion
Lead quantitative assessment of network scenarios using suitable modelling and analytical approaches
Evaluate scenarios on total landed cost, service performance, inventory and cash impact, risk and resilience, and scalability
Run sensitivity and what-if analyses to test scenario robustness against demand shifts, cost inflation, tariffs and capacity changes
Turn complex analytical outputs into clear insights covering trade-offs, risks and decision implications
Partner with stakeholders from scenario definition through assessment to final recommendation, aligning on assumptions, scope and evaluation criteria
Act as an integrator across functions, balancing competing objectives and perspectives
Prepare executive-level decks, narratives and decision papers covering strategic context, scenarios considered, analytical outcomes, trade-offs, risks, mitigations and actionable recommendations
Present and defend recommendations to senior leadership and executive forums, adapting depth and messaging as needed

Hands-on experience with scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis and what-if modelling
Ability to assess trade-offs across cost, service, cash, risk, resilience and sustainability
Structured problem-solver who can frame unclear questions into hypotheses, assumptions and decision levers
