You will join a team supporting large-scale wireless environments that operate around the clock, handling everything from daily operations to incident response. It suits someone with solid hands-on network and wireless support experience who is comfortable working independently and coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.
What you'll do Support daily operations of wireless infrastructure, including Cisco Wireless and Aruba solutions, switches, firewalls, captive portals and authentication systems Troubleshoot wireless connectivity problems, DNS, DHCP, captive portal access, OTP login issues, VLAN routing, authentication failures and internet access issues Manage technical escalations and assist with major incident troubleshooting during service disruptions Know someone for this? Carry out preventive maintenance, firmware upgrades, patching and technology refresh for wireless and network infrastructure
Support WLC upgrades, including access point image updates, failover testing, rollback planning and validation
Work with vendor TAC teams such as Cisco TAC and Aruba TAC on issue analysis and resolution
Perform root cause analysis and prepare incident reports, technical findings and preventive recommendations
Support implementation work such as access point deployment, switch replacement, firewall migration, SSL certificate updates and network migrations
Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, contractors and facility management teams during maintenance and implementation
Support testing such as congestion testing, failover testing, WiFi roaming optimisation and POE/network validation
Monitor infrastructure health using tools such as Catalyst Center, AirWave, SevOne, LogicMonitor and NetAlly
Use ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow for incident, change management and service requests
Maintain technical documentation including install plans, diagrams, inventory records, validation evidence and maintenance reports
Support after-office-hour maintenance windows, standby support and emergency troubleshooting
Ensure compliance with operational governance, safety requirements and change management procedures Good to know Onsite support role at a client site May require standby support, shift work and after-office-hour maintenance depending on operational needs Requirements Diploma or degree in IT, computer engineering, network engineering or a related field At least 3–5 years of hands-on network and wireless infrastructure support experience Strong knowledge of Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) Strong knowledge of Aruba wireless solutions Knowledge of switching and routing technologies Knowledge of firewalls and network security concepts Apply on the company website
