About the role
You will join SATS at the Inflight Catering Centre 1, working in the food solutions team that prepares and loads airline meals. The role reports to a Catering Supervisor (Pre-set) and suits someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced, shift-based environment and can handle physical work.
What you'll do
Collect, build up and check First Class, Business Class, Economy Class, special meals, beverages and other inflight items for uplift according to airline requirements
Perform pick confirm on Infolog when collecting items from Food Bank, Sub-store and Bakery
Collect items listed in Non-Rechargeable Multi-Item Stores Requisition Forms from Supplies
Mark First and Business Class food items with flight number and content, then store them with economy class meals in holding refrigerators

Check airline carts, including preset trays and special meals, and bulk items to ensure uplift matches airline requirements
Coordinate with Catering Control and make final adjustments based on final passenger load
Prepare additional meals for all classes if loading has not started
Ensure equipment sets comply with the correct Equipment Load Plan
Follow HACCP, food safety and food hygiene procedures
Use SQ/SATS Handover Forms and hand over directly to cabin staff for SQ/OAL flights where handover happens on board
Load and unload catering items to and from aircraft according to the Galley Loading Plan, taking charge of the assigned galley
Ensure equipment sets are completely and correctly loaded in various galleys on the aircraft
Check meals with cabin crew on board before handing over all food and store items
Coordinate last-minute additional meal uplifts
Obtain crew signatures on checklists and supply documents, then submit them to the Control Centre at the end of the shift
Keep the work area tidy and clean, returning all bins to designated areas after each airline's groundwork
Dispose of rubbish and carton boxes at designated areas
Follow workplace safety and health procedures, avoid endangering yourself or colleagues, do not tamper with safety devices or act wilfully or recklessly
Report unsafe work conditions, behaviours and incidents, and suggest improvements to safety and health at work
Carry out any other duties assigned by the officer
