Patient Service Associate (SOC Services)

About the role

Provide patient services in doctors' consultation rooms, financial counselling and appointment scheduling at a Specialist Outpatient Clinic. Handle registration, appointment making, billing and payment, and other counter and administrative duties. Assist doctors during consultations, including chaperoning, language translation, preparing patients for examinations and minor procedures, and recording vital signs in the EMR system. Collect specimens, schedule surgery and endoscopy procedures, and keep patient information accurate and PDPA-compliant. Attend to patient and staff enquiries on clinic services, appointments and billing, and support clinic readiness and quality improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE N Level, ITE NITEC, ITE Higher Nitec or Diploma
• Positive attitude, initiative and willingness to learn
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
