About the role

Join the NUHS@Home team, a home hospital service, as a Programme Coordinator supporting the coordination and management of patient care. This role suits proactive problem-solvers who are passionate about healthcare and enjoy working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

What you'll do

Take part in planning, assessing and monitoring the programme to ensure the best possible care for patients

Coordinate with external vendors for transport and courier deliveries

Work with NUH and cross-hospital BMU to manage bed requests

Coordinate with multiple departments across NUHS to schedule appointments and other services requested by clinicians

Perform patient admissions, discharges and transfers on the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

Conduct financial counselling for patients and next-of-kin on estimated NUHS@Home bills, available subsidies, payment schemes and modes of payment

Help patients complete various payment forms and ensure proper documentation and follow-up for all in-flight cases until discharge

Export reports from the EMR system and import data into relevant channels in a timely manner to support information retrieval for the clinical team

Good to know

May be required to work outside normal working hours, including weekends and/or public holidays

Requirements

Diploma in any discipline
Able to converse in English and a mother tongue language (Chinese, Malay or Tamil)
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft applications
Willing to work outside normal working hours, such as weekends and/or public holidays
Able to cope with and work in a fast-paced environment
A good team player with a positive work attitude
