About the role
This role sits with the Integrated Facilities Management team under Work Dynamics, managing repair and replacement works and defect rectification across assigned sites. You will act as the link between the building owner, FMC, tenants and contractors, and also serve as Fire Safety Manager. It suits someone with a facilities or building background who is comfortable handling both project and facilities duties.
What you'll do
Manage and monitor repair and replacement work, including defect rectification
Liaise with the building owner, FMC and tenants across sites, and act as liaison with contractors
Engage tenants so their needs are addressed during works, especially where their daily operations are affected
Uphold safety, code compliance and functional facilities service delivery

Attend all meetings and inspections and provide periodic updates and status projections
Prepare, collate and submit engineering, facilities and project reports at the required frequency
Build working relationships with client representatives and site suppliers and service providers
Attend project meetings and give progressive updates to the building owner, FMC and stakeholders
Submit project progress and completion reports
Follow up after DLP to ensure defects rectification is completed
Promote a safety-first culture across sites and highlight safety risks to contractors, following through on adherence
Support the building owner and wider team to meet high client service standards
Escalate issues affecting performance or deliverables to the Manager in a timely way
Serve as the liaison for all facilities services
Ensure safety, environmental and client standards are adhered to within managed facilities
Ensure compliance with portfolio initiatives and local, state and federal laws and regulations for facility operations
Comply with client policies, government regulations and internal SOPs on EHS, procurement and financial policies
Act as key contact for tenant engagement, preparing communication materials and working with tenants on issues arising from works
Plan and schedule fire safety inspections within tenanted units
Issue engagement letters
Conduct inspections of premises
Assist in issuing breach letters
Escalate to authorities such as SCDF when necessary
Monitor regulatory processes
Report findings and progress to JTC, including monthly reports

Requirements
Diploma in Building or Facilities discipline from a recognised tertiary institution with at least 3 years relevant experience, preferably with M&E or civil/building background, OR ITE/NTC facility management or technical discipline with at least 5 years experience
Certified Fire Safety Manager (FSM)
Experience and technical knowledge in facilities management and project management
Knowledge of statutory requirements
Pleasant personality with strong customer service, interpersonal skills and problem solving ability
Strong technical and project management knowledge
