About the role

This role sits within the RICE Community Care department and works closely with Alexandra Hospital and NUHS teams to keep day-to-day community care operations running smoothly. You will help deliver community-oriented clinical operations, projects and events, and office administration, so it suits someone who learns quickly, pays attention to detail and communicates well with patients and partners.

What you'll do

Provide administrative support for integrated care models covering transitional, pre- and post-hospital workflows
Support data operations that inform clinical operations and decision-making
Assist quality improvement and innovation efforts to make the Community team more effective
Help operationalise projects that improve care integration with community partners

Give operational and administrative support to AH teams delivering home- and community-centric care

Support quality and process improvement projects using methodologies such as Agile, GROSS and GROW

Run selected community programmes, including mobility exercise and health education sessions

Support and run occasional community-oriented events

Help engage and collaborate with healthcare partners in the community

Administer surveys and collate data for programme evaluation

Organise and manage data to support department work and evaluation

Counsel patients and caregivers by phone on AH Transitional Care and related programmes, and enrol them

Document counselling proceedings and outcomes

Schedule appointments

Capture service charges and generate or amend bills for AH Transitional Care

Manage reports needed for audit purposes

Ensure efficient service delivery and a positive patient experience

Provide operational coverage when needed

Perform secretariat work for meetings and projects

Handle office administrative matters including budget, finance, procurement and inventory

Maintain records, legal contracts and department data

Carry out other relevant work assigned by the supervisor

Good to know

Occasional weekend or outside-office-hours work is required
Occasional off-site work in the community is required
Only Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents may apply

Requirements

Diploma or equivalent qualification in any discipline
Diploma or above in healthcare administration, business administration or a related field is an advantage
At least 2 years of experience in large organisations, ideally in administration, innovation projects or healthcare operations
Good spoken and written English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Experience with EPIC and SAP is an advantage
