About the role
This role sits with the Trust Platform team, tackling fraud, abuse and platform-safety issues from start to finish. You will look into complex risk patterns, pick the right approach, and build the data and production pieces needed to make it work. It suits engineers who enjoy moving between modelling, data engineering and software engineering.
What you'll do
- Investigate fraud, abuse, account integrity and platform-safety problems using data and domain knowledge.
- Define success metrics that balance detection quality, user experience, latency and operational cost.
- Decide whether a problem is best solved with ML, heuristics, rules, graph techniques, optimisation or system changes.
