This role leads a facilities section at Marina Bay Sands, keeping the Integrated Resort's buildings and systems running smoothly across the casino, hotel, MICE, F&B, entertainment and attractions areas. It suits an experienced engineering or facilities leader who can manage maintenance, capital projects, budgets and a team in a large-scale property.

Lead a facilities section maintaining the Integrated Resort's buildings and mechanical, electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning and fire protection systems.
Support the Directors of Facilities in setting strategies and plans for the team.
Plan and carry out corrective and preventive maintenance programmes in line with codes of practice and authority requirements.
Work in compliance with Marina Bay Sands policies and parent company directives.
Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders on operations, maintenance and project activities.
Drive continuous improvement using new technologies and data analysis tools.
Implement fire safety management programmes to prevent incidents.
Keep the workplace safe for team members and contractors.
Manage customer-driven quality programmes and improvement initiatives.
Support sustainability and CSR efforts.
Ensure the Integrated Resort's operational needs are adequately supported.
Set operational standards and SOPs for facilities and MEP systems.
Run facilities and MEP systems efficiently and safely according to those standards.
Maintain all mandatory operating permits for facility operation.
Implement emergency response procedures for situations such as fire, power outages and floods.
Build an asset inventory for facilities and MEP systems.
Run preventive and predictive maintenance programmes to keep assets serviceable.
Ensure maintenance follows manufacturer instructions and local authority requirements.
Manage service contractor performance and recommend contract renewals.
Keep records of inspection, testing and maintenance activities.
Support long-term asset and equipment replacement planning using life cycle analysis.
Manage assigned capital, A&A and improvement projects under company policies.
Prepare tender documents, scopes of work and specifications.
Manage or support project hand-over and pre-opening programmes, including site inspection and defect rectification.
Plan the section's annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
Use resources effectively to deliver the Facilities department's functions.
Plan manpower for O&M activities with productivity and budget control.
Set up monitoring of the property's utility consumption.
Develop and implement energy conservation initiatives.
Manage inventory and stock control for spare parts, materials and tools.
Act as a role model through OneMBS and lead the Facilities team towards business objectives.

Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, Facilities Management or equivalent; candidates without the qualification but with adequate similar experience may apply
Professional qualification or certification in a related field is an advantage
At least 10 years of hands-on practical engineer experience in large-scale properties such as Integrated Resort, hospitality, mixed development or MICE
At least 2 years in a similar capacity is an advantage
Technical competency across all trades of Building Services, particularly in large-scale properties
A capable leader with integrity, passion, knowledge and drive for improvement
