About the role
This role leads workplace and capital projects from planning through to handover, with a focus on corporate fit-out and critical facilities. You will work with project teams, consultants, contractors and specialist vendors, and engage senior business leaders across functions such as Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management, Technology, Security, Risk, Compliance and Operations. It suits an experienced project manager with a background in financial services or similarly regulated environments and a track record in occupied, business-critical settings.
What you'll do
Lead end-to-end delivery of workplace and capital projects from planning through execution and final handover.
Coordinate commissioning, testing, cutover and migration activities.
Develop contingency plans and operational readiness programmes to maintain business continuity.
Engage with senior business leaders to define project objectives and requirements.
Build relationships with Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management, Technology, Security, Risk, Compliance and Operations teams.
Manage multiple stakeholder groups and drive alignment throughout project delivery.
Lead governance meetings, project reviews and decision-making forums.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, workplace safety requirements and internal governance standards.
Identify, assess and mitigate project risks.
Manage change control processes and project approvals.
Ensure appropriate testing, commissioning and handover documentation is completed.
Develop and manage project budgets and forecasts.
Lead procurement and tendering activities.
Administer contracts and manage commercial risks.
Evaluate variations, claims and change requests.
Drive cost optimisation and value engineering initiatives.

Requirements
Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Building, Real Estate or a related discipline.
PMP, PRINCE2, MRICS or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Minimum 10 years of project management experience delivering corporate workplace or commercial fit-out projects.
Proven experience managing projects within financial services, banking, capital markets or similarly regulated environments.
Strong track record delivering projects in occupied, business-critical environments.
Demonstrated experience managing corporate office fit-outs, trading floor projects, workplace relocations, swing space and decanting programmes, phased occupancy projects and critical infrastructure upgrades.
