About the role
This role sits within the People Science and Aviation Psychology team at Scoot's Singapore headquarters, supporting pilots and cabin crew. It blends performance coaching, mental well-being support, talent assessment and people analytics, and would suit an experienced organisational psychologist who enjoys turning data into practical recommendations.
What you'll do
Improve the validity, reliability and relevance of psychometric tools used by the company.
Review and streamline the selection process to make hiring more efficient and improve the candidate experience.
Recommend and support interventions that help managers and employees reduce hiring errors and attrition.
Collect and analyse talent data to assess how effective talent management programmes are.
Build dashboards or other visualisations that give stakeholders meaningful insights.
Work with business leaders, HRBPs and the TDOD team on the long-term talent strategy.
Build, maintain and govern the company competency framework based on future workforce needs.
Develop a continuous listening strategy and turn insights into actions across the employee life-cycle.
Help design and run surveys and focus groups on employee sentiment about work environment and operational procedures.
Analyse survey and focus group data using quantitative and qualitative methods to spot trends and improvement areas.
Advise stakeholders on best practices for employee experience and engagement assessment.
Coach individual pilots and groups who are facing performance issues.
Analyse performance data to identify obstacles to optimal performance.
Create and deliver individualised intervention plans to improve pilot performance and meet regulatory requirements.
Train pilots on topics such as fatigue, stress and alcohol management and decision-making skills.
Develop and run programmes that promote pilot well-being and resilience, such as peer supporter groups.
Set up and maintain a Critical Stress Incident Management programme for operational crew.
Provide immediate and ongoing psychological support to pilots or cabin crew after critical incidents.
Facilitate group debriefings and peer support sessions to aid emotional processing and recovery.
Track and analyse CISM programme data to identify trends and improve effectiveness.
Support crew recruitment, selection and promotion using psychometrics.
Keep up to date with research and developments in aviation psychology and human performance.
Contribute to company-wide safety and well-being initiatives.
Take part in accident and incident investigations and give psychological support to affected crew.

Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Psychology with Honours
Preferably at least 6 years of experience in I/O psychology, including applied psychological or counselling work
Strong expertise in performance coaching, human factors analysis and programme development, ideally in aviation
Proven experience designing and running surveys and focus groups, with data analysis and reporting skills
CISM certification or equivalent crisis intervention training preferred
Psychometrics training and/or Hogan certification preferred
