About the role
Woodlands Hospital is an integrated acute and community hospital with specialist outpatient clinics and new care models. The nursing team delivers person-centred care that reaches beyond the usual hospital setting, and this role suits a compassionate registered nurse who wants to grow within a learning-focused clinical environment.
What you'll do
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care according to patients' clinical needs and care standards
Monitor patients' conditions and identify, escalate and respond to changes in clinical status
Administer medications and treatments safely and in line with hospital policies and nursing best practices
Perform nursing procedures and interventions within the scope of professional practice
Keep timely, accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions and outcomes
Work closely with doctors, allied health professionals and multidisciplinary teams on coordinated care
Facilitate admission, transfer, discharge and care transition processes
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medications, self-management and health promotion
Follow infection prevention, patient safety and quality assurance standards
Take part in quality improvement projects, clinical audits and patient safety initiatives
Report incidents, risks and near misses under organisational policies
Support excellent patient and family experiences
Maintain professional competency through continuous education, training and evidence-based practice
Take part in competency assessments and professional development programmes
Support orientation, training and mentoring of junior nurses and new team members
Help build a positive, collaborative and learning-oriented work environment
Support nursing and departmental initiatives that improve patient care, operational efficiency and workforce readiness
Take part in hospital projects, committees and improvement efforts as assigned
Assist Nurse Managers and Nurse Clinicians with nursing policies, work processes and service improvements

Requirements
Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree or equivalent qualification in Nursing
Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) with a valid Practising Certificate
Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
Compassionate, patient-centred approach to care
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
