Service Associate

About the role

You will handle day-to-day customer service and cash activities at a bank branch, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan and card payments, cheque encashment and telegraphic transfers in local and foreign currencies. You will also provide account maintenance services such as account status updates, account closures and ATM PIN changes. As a Digital Ambassador, you will guide customers on the bank's digital channels and recommend alternatives where suitable. You are expected to take ownership of customer problems, promote the bank's products and services, and follow daily branch operations and security procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant banking industry experience
• Customer service experience in a financial institution
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
• Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal and communications skills
