About the role

You will drive continuous change and improvement within the IT Division, taking initiative to ensure plans are set up, monitored and implemented. Working closely with various stakeholders, you will manage the IT Division Portfolio across projects, resources, IT deliveries and key milestones. This role suits someone who can align work with Technology strategy, drive key initiatives, and embed governance and change management practices to deliver measurable outcomes. The position reports to the Head of Technology Portfolio Management & Transformation.

What you'll do

Manage division-wide technology transformation initiatives to ensure delivery excellence
Coordinate the development or refinement of the technology transformation roadmap

Support Technology departments in translating strategic intent into execution plans across departments, ensuring alignment between Technology stakeholders

Drive change management efforts to embed new ways of working

Establish and manage program governance structures, steering committees, and reporting frameworks

Facilitate required forums and activities within managed processes on a regular cadence

Facilitate Group reporting related to projects and other IT activities where required

Support team members with activities in non-IT Portfolio domains such as IT audit and Group reporting where necessary

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in portfolio management and/or managing mid-sized IT programs or projects using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
Strong understanding of IT project and delivery concepts
Experience facilitating governance, project review, steering and other project or portfolio meetings
Stakeholder management experience, especially with senior management, is highly desirable
Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, project management tools or scripting is highly desirable
Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, IT or equivalent
