About the role

A contract role in Group Operations within Trade Finance Operations, covering Pre & Post Processing and KL UPC transactions. You will supervise daily processing work, keep service levels and risk controls in line with established guidelines, and support both internal and external customers. It suits someone organised, discreet and comfortable working fully on-site in a fast-paced banking operations team.

What you'll do

Plan, manage and control day-to-day activities of the section
Make sure daily operations are completed correctly and on time
Follow the Service Level Agreement and related procedures and guidelines
Monitor activities so that quality results are maintained

Handle, document and resolve exceptions quickly

Resolve problems and make appropriate decisions

Monitor and follow up on outstanding or pending transactions

Receive and acknowledge applications, instructions and documents from the Service Counter

Reconcile items received against items scanned or processed at day end

Cover the duties of colleagues when needed and prepare for staff shortages or absences

Understand internal and external customer needs and attend to them promptly and professionally

Promote a good customer service culture and give technical advice to customers

Identify and review areas for process improvement to raise productivity

Identify, understand and manage risks, taking steps to contain or minimise them

Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor

100% work in office, based at Tampines
May need to work beyond standard office hours depending on workload
Contract ends 31 Dec 26

Requirements

Willing to work beyond standard office hours when workload demands
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
High level of discretion and integrity
Proficiency in Microsoft applications or general IT savviness is an advantage
