About the role
This internship sits with the quality team at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore, supporting laboratory and calibration projects across the company's engine overhaul and repair facilities. It suits an engineering student or recent graduate who is keen to learn and comfortable taking ownership of project tasks.
What you'll do
Lead the setup and initiation of a new dimensional and torque calibration lab at the new engine overhaul facility in Seletar Aerospace Park
Manage the project overall and secure the resources needed to keep the programme on schedule
Qualify and commission a 3D printing powder element composition analysis machine at the Loyang compressor repair facility
Coordinate a Kaizen event at the metallurgy lab together with a cross-functional team
Follow up with various stakeholders on machine installation, qualification, creation of standard work and operator training

Engineering degree
University-level mathematics and physics
Basic engineering knowledge
