About the role
The Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences Cluster at the Singapore University of Technology and Design is hiring for an open-rank, tenure-track faculty role in the psychological sciences. The position sits within the Human-centred Intelligence Track of the Design and Artificial Intelligence programme, which brings together psychology, philosophy and human–AI interaction. It suits scholars whose quantitative work connects machine and human intelligence, for example the psychology of human–AI interaction or using AI to study cognition and behaviour.
What you'll do
Build and maintain a strong research profile, including publications and grant funding.
Work with colleagues across engineering, computer science, architecture and design on interdisciplinary research.
Teach into the Design and Artificial Intelligence undergraduate programme and the Psychology & Business Management Minor.
Help develop pedagogical approaches that embody Design.AI and link scholarly teaching with real-world problem solving.
Help shape HASS and DAI and their links with the wider university, industry and the public sector.

Requirements
Scholarly background in any area of the psychological sciences
Proven record of effective teaching at university level
Ability to contribute to the Design and Artificial Intelligence programme and its Human-centred Intelligence Track
Expertise bridging machine and human intelligence
Active engagement in rigorous quantitative research involving both machine and human intelligence
Ability to teach advanced methods in statistical or computational modelling is viewed favourably
