About the role

Thunes is a global payments network headquartered in Singapore, and this role sits within its data and analytics function. You will work with teams across the business to turn complex data into clear insights that support better decisions. It suits someone analytical and product-minded who enjoys solving real business problems with data.

What you'll do

Work with stakeholders to understand their reporting, analysis and insight needs and turn these into analytical solutions
Develop a strong grasp of business processes, product flows, operational challenges and performance metrics
Design, build and maintain production-grade dashboards, reports and analytical assets, mainly in Tableau
Write production-level SQL and Python for analytics, reporting, data transformation and scalable insight delivery
Partner with data engineering teams to keep data sources reliable, well-structured and suitable for analysis
Help improve reporting standards, data definitions and analytical best practices within the team
Manage competing requests and priorities in line with team direction and company priorities

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics or another quantitative field
2-4 years of experience in data, BI, analytics or a related role
Strong hands-on production-level SQL skills
Strong hands-on Python skills for analysis, data processing and analytical solution development
Strong Tableau expertise, including dashboard development, data source design, performance optimisation and Tableau Online administration
Proven ability to work with complex datasets and turn business questions into structured analysis
