About the role

This role supports clinical service planning, infrastructure development and resourcing planning for a new hospital campus in Tengah. You will work with consultants, medical planners and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, and the position suits someone organised, analytical and comfortable juggling multiple work streams.

What you'll do

Support user engagement workshops that feed subject matter input into hospital design planning, with the aim of improving patient journeys and experience
Help drive discussions on road-mapping the hospital's development across clinical service planning, infrastructure and resourcing

Work closely with consultants, medical planners and internal stakeholders to shape service flow design and planning parameters

Help run workshops and coordinate stakeholder meetings to clarify project requirements and develop suitable methodologies, technologies and assumptions

Help draft end-user briefs, operations requirements, guidelines and work processes, and organise workshops to gather user requirements and test new models virtually and on physical prototypes

Help prepare business cases seeking approval for infrastructure growth and related funding

Track, monitor and report updates from various work streams and planning areas to management, raising concerns promptly

Help prepare periodic progress reports for the hospital committee

Help organise and lead activities related to the hospital's development

Help implement operational models in line with service and care model development, within budget and guidelines

Coordinate meetings, book venues, collate agendas, take minutes and arrange catering when needed, and maintain manual or electronic filing in a shared drive

Help raise procurement and payment requests

Take on other projects or tasks assigned by the reporting officer

Based at the new Tengah General and Community Hospital campus, part of the National University Health System cluster
The facility is slated to be ready in the early 2030s
Candidates with more relevant experience may be considered for the Senior Assistant Manager position

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in healthcare operations
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to build strong working relationships at various levels
Strong organisational and time management skills
Strong leadership qualities, able to motivate and nurture a team towards operational goals
Self-directed, resourceful and self-motivated with an analytical mind and good problem-solving skills
