About the role
This role sits within the base maintenance department of the SIA Engineering Division, supporting hangar operations for SIA and its subsidiary airlines. You will report to the VP Base Maintenance and take charge of keeping maintenance checks and rectifications on schedule, whether they happen in Singapore or overseas. It suits a licensed aircraft engineer who is organised, analytical and comfortable coordinating across teams.
What you'll do
- Coordinate with all MROs on preparations and the progress of maintenance checks
- Attend the daily engineering operations meeting and report on each aircraft under maintenance
- Work with MROs and the Costing section to agree fair charges for work done as a hangar check progresses
