About the role
This role leads construction projects and building maintenance for a sporting goods retailer's real estate portfolio in Singapore. You will work with internal teams, landlords and external contractors to deliver new stores, revamps and ongoing facility upkeep. It suits someone with solid retail construction or facility management experience who can manage budgets, timelines and safety standards.
What you'll do
Advise on and apply technical solutions for new store openings, revamps, relocations, sale and leaseback, downsizing and extension projects.
Negotiate construction split lists and lead technical meetings with landlords.
Coordinate and support technical due diligence such as soil, environmental and structure studies.

Select and guide tenders, negotiate technical specifications and contract construction services.
Manage external partners to deliver projects within approved budget and schedule while optimising operations and maintenance costs.
Ensure construction activities meet technical specifications, safety and security standards, sustainability targets and local regulations.
Perform routine site inspections to check quality and safety compliance.
Prepare, review and validate building permit and sustainable building certification applications.
Develop briefing and guidance for execution stakeholders.
Manage project constraints on budget, timeline and quality, and deliver the baseline scope.
Handle project closing, punch list items, final inspections, documentation and final financial closeout including payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
Provide maintenance expertise and policies for existing and potential new stores, revamps, relocations, sale and leaseback, downsizing and extension projects.
Negotiate maintenance split lists and participate in technical meetings with landlords.
Support handover processes with store leaders and operations managers.
Create and regularly update a list of maintenance services for qualitative tenders.
