What you'll do

Follow HACCP policies and procedures in the hotel kitchen
Keep work stations clean and hygienic, and help maintain kitchen equipment
Flag hazardous situations to teammates and report potential dangers to supervisors
Prepare daily production
Prepare all dessert items consistently for banquet, buffet, club lounge, afternoon tea and festive menus, following hotel recipes and standards
Follow hotel brand standards
Build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues
Attend and take part in kitchen briefings and meetings
Attend and take part in scheduled training sessions
Speak politely and courteously to guests and internal customers

Requirements

Diploma or vocational certificate in culinary skills or a related field
At least 2 years of related experience in full-service restaurants or local/international hotels with high-volume kitchens
Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
Strong communication skills
Fluent in spoken and written English
Valid food hygiene or food handler certificate as required by local government
